ISLAMABAD:
The Islamabad Deputy Mayor Syed Zeeshan Naqvi and Union Council (UC) Chairperson Syed Zaki Haider distributed fruits, vegetables, and other essential items among the families residing in Shah Allah Ditta village on Tuesday.

The officials supplied ration packets to over 800 locals of the village, confined to their homes for weeks as a result of the lockdown imposed to stem the coronavirus in the country.

The officials said that the distribution activity would continue today (Wednesday) as well. Naqvi urged the people to stay indoors, adding that the Islamabad Metropolitan Corporation (IMC) would always extend help to people in need in this difficult time.
