ZIARAT: At least seven bodies, including that of a Balochistan-based commander, were found in the Sanjawi area of Ziarat district in Balochistan on Friday morning.

The suspected militants were killed in a search operation that had taken place in the area targeting Taliban militants, sources said.

The bodies were found dumped near a seasonal river, and were initially spotted by passersby.

"The bodies bore multiple bullet wounds," an official of the Balochistan Levies told The Express Tribune.

The bodies were transferred to Quetta for identification.

According a report from the Balochistan home department, more than 150 bodies were found dumped in isolated places of Balochistan this year alone.
