QUETTA: Police rounded up several suspects from different areas of Quetta on Friday morning in connection with the suicide attack on JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s vehicle yesterday.

“Police and security forces have carried out raids in different neighbourhoods of Quetta and arrested some suspects for questioning regarding the suicide attack,” SSP Operations Quetta Aetezaz Guraya told The Express Tribune.

“We have taken into custody some suspects who could be useful to trace the culprits involved in the suicide attempt,” Guraya added.

Police and Frontier Corps (FC) have launched search operations in Saryab, Pashtunabad, Killi Kamalo and other areas of Quetta after Thursday’s bombings and sectarian killings, which left at least 13 people dead and wounded over 40 others in Quetta.

The body parts of the suicide bomber have been found by the police; however, his head could not be located from the crime scene.

“Police have sent DNA samples of the suicide bomber to Lahore to determine his identity,” Guraya said, adding that it is premature to comment on the nationality of the suicide bomber.

But the killers of 9 Hazaras are not caught. No one is even looking for them. This Govt. is condoning genocide. After all the Hazaras were Shias. A minority.
